Nice! She should be fine in the 5.5 for a little while yet. I have an 09 in the same size. I plan to get a rack next year so hopefully by the time my little hateling outgrows the 5.5 I will have the rack. Just remember, when you upgrade her housing, get another hatchling! LOL

Whoop! Another Texan! Howdy and welcome to the forums! You've come to the right place. :}

And beautiful little girl you have! If you can find one, a 20L should be all you need for the rest of her life. A 10 gallon can also hold a corn for up to yearling age, assuming she doesn't balloon in growth. Craigslist is a great place to find 20L tanks for super cheap!

awesome thanks yall for the advice...craigslist did have them for like really cheap haha. but ya where abouts texas r ya jlindp?

is that what mine is i couldnt figure out which one it was...at petsmart they said she was a balck albino corn snake but i dont really think they know what there talking about.....she has a greyish color on her dorsal side around the patches of brown. clarification would be appreciated?

I made the same mistake mmozer...I bought our snake from Petland...paid more than I should have but they did give me a month health guarantee..course they did sell him to me with mites grrr. I don't they know what they're talking about either.

Welcome btw!

I'm originally from Dallas, but I'm currently in College Station -- Aggie here! Whoop! ;D

And a rack is a multi-snake set up. It usually consists of a shelf-like piece of furniture with, usually, plastic totes.
