Hey everyone, I am brand new to the site and fairly new,(about 2 months now), to handling a snake collection. I work at a tropical plant nursery here in central FL, but my boss/nursery owner has a fairly large snake collection that I was put in charge of taking care of about 2 months ago. I have gone from watching him take care of the snakes for an hour or two a week, to being there primary care taker for 2-3 days of my work week. He currently keeps 76 snakes, mostly Corn, but some King and Milk too. I was never very into snakes when I started but every time I do a cleaning or feeding I get more and more into there care and well being. I have recently acquired my first corn and have decided to grab a few more hatchings to start a small collection. some pics:
I also hope to learn breeding from the collection owner this upcoming spring. I would like the thank everyone who has made this site possible, and all the contributors for your wealth of information. I have learned so much already from here, and cant seem to get enough new info. I will try and get some pics up of the current room set-up I am in charge of and some of my favorite snakes in the coming days. thanks again CS.com
