scale coming off

My Kisatchie, who I just photographed the other day, has a loose scale on the top of his head today. Doesn't seem to be a scratch on him, just a single scale sticking up. In fact, now I can see it in these pictures, but it wasn't sticking up so obviously before so I didn't notice.

I'm kind of assuming this is no big deal, as he otherwise appears to be and act healthy in every way. Should I just wait for his next shed when it will obviously come off? Or should I do something different or watch for anything else??

When did he shed last time? In pic one it looks like a rub, does he rub on the lid (I have one that does that and sometimes he gets a rub mark) it comes off with next shed. The other thing once one of my snakes had that same spot, couldn't figure it out, but within a couple days he went blue and shed perfect. It was kind of like a pre blue shed scale!!! You could put some neosporin on it, just for good measure. good luck, susan

He's probably half way between his last shed and his next one. He doesn't seem to rub his head that I notice on the lid or anything.

Well I guess I would try the neo/polysporin just a tiny bit, to keep it soft. I meant to say earlier he is a beauty.
