scales are still on

snake guy

It's never to late
I tried taking the old scales off using warm water on his head. But not of the scales came off. :headbang:

how long did you bath him for?

my tallulah had the same problem on her tail however consistant 10 min bathing periods over a few weeks finally got it off... just keep trying :)

For about 5 min then I tried peeling the old scales off eventho he didn't like the bath. Should i try again

oh dont do that!!!
what to do, fill a tub with a lid with just under a 1/4 inch of warm water and leave him there for 10 mins, preferably somewhere quiet just to limit the stress as much as possible...

they dont like baths but sometimes it does them the world of good :)

snake guy, if you keep your queries about the same problem in the same thread, the people trying to help will know from their User CP that you're still having problems. Just a tip.

The method is correct, no the snake isn't going to like it but the skin needs to be taken off, gently. Just to reiterate again, the water should be COOL, lukewarm at highest.
