Scales

Corn love
On of my snakes really has rough scales. There not 100% flat. I noticed it last week when she wasn't sliding through my fingers very smoothly. I let someone else look at it with more snake experience then me and he said she was probably going to shed. That was a week ago and last satuday she contricted a pinkie. I take a little peek at her each day to watch for signs up 'blue phase' but nothing.
I did find a skin in the viv last week but i think thats from the other one. Also, by the looks of get it get's more noticable. Since she's still digesting i don't hold her but i can not see with my own eyes. I'm a bit worried.

When I bought an adult cornsnake a few months back, her scales were all rough, torn and split with the old scale missing, but after a few good sheds and the right humidity level, the snake is doing great and her scales are looking great.

So make sure the humidity is the right level in your viv and look our for sheds.
You say that you found another shed in your corns viv, so im guessing that you have 2 corns together. Make sure they are not fighting and also make sure that there are no sharp points in the viv because this could cause damage to your snakes scales.

Has your other corn go any rough scales????

Cheers
Alex

Nope. The other is a beauty.
i did buy a humiditymeter and it's just fine. There are 2 bowl in the viv. A slightly deep one to drink from, and a big shallow one. I've found her taking a quick bath there once :) The snakes aren't fighting. They have huge viv but i always find them tangles up together. I got a nice pic of them on top of a branch all curled up together. I can't handle one without handling the other. No sharp things in the viv at all. I checked.

im not sure what it is then. Wait till after shed next sheds and see if the scales are better then.

Goodluck

Oke. I have her 3 weeks now and she has eaten 1.5 pinkie untill now. Not counting a regurg after 2 days. She should shed pretty soon i think
