Scat question

serpentina

What the deuce???
Can you call snake poo scat?? Anyway, I'm planning to take a fecal smaple in to the Vet tomorrow morning but, I was wondering how "fresh" does the poo need to be? I think this one's a day or day1/2 old. He did it in a hidden spot so I didn't find it right away. Will this be ok for a test for internal parasites? He's not sick, I just want one done (he's new).
Thanks

They say the fresher the better. Since there are no apparent problems with your snake, I'd wait until I found a very fresh poo and get it to the vet a quickly as I can.
