Scent oriented

I just got a reminder on how scent oriented snakes can be when it's lunch time. I had our big amel Penelope out to feed her and was thawing her mouse while she was still coiled around my left arm and when I refreshed the water I kinda forgot to wash my hand after touching the mouse and then put my hand in front of her so she could crawl up my other arm. Yup, she tagged me on my palm. I knew exactly what happened as soon as it did and knew why.

My daugher-in-law, Sciencechick, asked if I was in danger of bleeding out...

You need to take a Bite Club photograph so we can verify the extent of your injury and suggest possible treatment!

obviously without pictures we can't know the exact extent of the damage but i would think unless its bleeding uncontrollably, you'll be fine.

I got tagged by Mango but I can't be part of the Bite Club because you couldn't see the wound. It was awfully painful, though. :D
