im building an enclosure and wanted to add venting, should i go with a cheap plastic vent from a hardware store or can i just staple, than hot glue a peace of screen?
 
i would go with vents. just makes it a nice clean flush look. screen would then show the staples or glue there. i know you probably meant to the outside, but that would be a bit risky for my taste.
