Second Breeding?

I set my female up with a borrowed unproven male for a couple long weekends right after her first shed post brumation. We saw what looked like breeding behavior, but did not see the actual coupling. Well, she is just getting rid of the last (I hope) of a dozen or so slugs and I am assuming that she will start eating again.

My question is whether it is reasonable to set her up again now, or should I let her rest until next spring. She is at least 5 years old and produced 22 hatchlings and a couple spontaneous second clutch slugs last year. She was about 650 grams when I introduced her to the male in the spring. I have not weighed her since then, but the weight of the slugs was not much more than the mice she has eaten since then. What do you think?

Thanks,
Ben
