hi all.

I was wondering, my female laid on the 24/4/03 she is now in the blue eyed stage of ecdysis, would it be ok to re-introduce her to my male after she has shed and maybe get another clutch of eggs, she is well over 4 feet long and still looks heavy, she is healthy and active, what do you think?????????

happy hatching all.......................STEVE

NO...

I would wait a couple of weeks or so after she sheds to let her rest. Having babies (or eggs) takes a lot out of a girl. She needs time to recouperate!
:D :p :D

THANX

THANKS CC.

She is starting to clear now so i expect her to shed in a few days, might leave it till the end of the month now.

thanks again.......STEVE

Good choice...

Feed her kind of heavily until then...to fatten her back up. I know you said she still looks pretty good, but better to be safe. You'd hate to lose her trying to get a second clutch out of her. And remember...it will be another month or so before she eats much if you do get her to second clutch.

yes...
never be greedy.....and I mean NEVER~

just fatten her up during this month or two. If she looks like that she's ready and fat enough then you can try breeding her.

NEVER breed a corn snake that has just laid eggs. It's definately going to kill her......

Good luck with your second clutch..

remember it's always better to be save than sorry.....

A BIG THANX

FOR YOUR RESPONSE.

I think i will just single clutch her, like you say ,i dont want to be sitting here in a few months asking why did she die, thankx again.

I have fifteen eggs from her so with a a little luck on my side i may get double figure neo's.

STEVE
