Separating mice?

ructo

New member
I ordered a 25 pack of adult mice from big cheese rodents for Ructo (my Corn snake in case you didn't know). It saved money even with shipping, so I went and did it, but I did realize they would be frozen together it what I call a "mice cube". I was wondering how you guys separate them since I know a lot of you have ordered from big cheese, and I assume other places are similar, but I don't want to thaw them all and risk ruining them, but a knife seems like it would tear them up and they would lose limbs, not to mention that they are basically ice, so it wouldn't be very effective. Thanks for the help!

Personally, I would call and complain. I've ordered from Layne Labs and they are NEVER stuck together. That doesn't seem right to me. It sounds like they thawed and then stuck together when the re-froze

I haven't actually checked if they are all stuck together, but they don't seem individually packaged or separated.

So it turns out they pull apart very easy. Thanks for the help. I should have tested before asking the question.
