Shared Rack, Temps Question.

I hopefully should be getting my AP rack in, in a few weeks, however, now that I have the thermostat in for it, I just realized a small problem, I'll be keeping Ball Pythons and Corn Snakes/Milksnake in the same rack. All the levels will be the same temperature, I know balls like their temps at 90*F and corns at 80*F.

Is there a 'happy medium' between the two tempurates to make them happy?
or do, I need to buy another thermostat and separate the flexwatt so they can be happy (which is difficult for me to do, I have absolutely no money, and am in debt, so it can happen eventually, just not right now.)

Racks tend to get warmer near the top, as heat rises.
Put your BPs in the top, corns on the bottom.
My racks look like this from top to bottom.
Ball pythons.
Cal-kings.
Corns.
Then rubber boas at the bottom.
Milks seem to be more variable and adaptable. It depends more on the specimen.

I would set the temp for 85*. That is fine as the hot spot for corns. Put the BP on top as the temperature will be higher on top. Put the probe for the thermostat somewhere in the middle.

Great advice. You may want to add more ventilation holes on the colubrid tubs too.
