She got out!

When going to feed her the usual two fuzzy mice for this week, I noticed my girl was not in her humid hide as usual...nor her house, moss, or under the water dish. I have torn the cage apart; she's not in there. I last saw her 2 days ago, getting a drink as I woke up in the morning. I can't imagine it would have been too long ago since she got out. My room is a total mess, and I have been taking it apart, piece by piece, to be careful. I usually sleep with the door cracked for my cat, so there's a possibility that she might have gotten out there, too, although I doubt it. She is very easily startled, and is probably hiding somewhere. Problem is, I have no clue where. Where should I be looking? Also, is there a way to bait her out? I really love her, and am seriously panicking right now. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

Congrats on safe recovery of escapees! Don't give up hope if you don't find them immediately. One of my adult corns was out for DAYS and was found again safe & sound in good condition. Someone else here had an escapee get out of the house in warm weather & wind up in the neighbor's yard. I don't remember what all else has been posted but a lot of escapees are recovered.
