Shed 2 Weeks Ago. In The Blue Again!

I want another Corn snake
Hey. My snake is a hatchling and it shed for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I picked it up today and noticed it squirmed for lik 2 secs which is more than usual.
i looked at it and noticed its in the blue again!

I had the snake for about 3 months when it shed for the first time. Now it's only been 2 weeks and its ready to shed.
The first month I only fed it a pinky a week. Then I started feeding it 2 every 5 days...

Is this normal? Thanks

hmm it depends on the snake and the environment really.
my corns have shed roughly once a month.

maybe its something to do with your viv humidity or temperature?

Could be cause by the increase feeding ??? Do you chart you snake feeding , sheds and such? What seems like two weeks ago could be three weeks ago :shrugs: More likely a combo of both feeding and not chart data. But keep in mind that mites and skin damage of some sort could be a cause too.

I feed it 2 pinkies about every 5-6 days on average. I decided on every 5 days. It last shed about March 26/27.

What exactly is this charting thing?

There was no damage on the skin. What could cause damage? What could cause mites?

First, Your snake sheding is probably fine.
Second, High humidity, burns and mite that can be carry in can cause an early shed. But I think your guy had either a grow spurt or you miss reading a shed.
The charting thing is simple. It just a note book or something that you write down the data of your snake feeding, size of mouse, sheds poops temps, etc etc. Me being an old man needs to chart this information down so I can go back and refer to it when I want to know the last shed, feeding or anything of my snake. It one take a minute .

oOo ok thanks.

I dont think my snake suffered any burns because its always in its hide on the cool side.
I don't know if the humidity is high...the water dish is over the UTH.

I'm almost 100% sure its in the blue. I actually didnt notice the first time it shed. I think it's going through it's growth spurt because i just noticed its a lil bigger than before.

I'm charting it in my comp.
