Today when I was changing out the water bowl I noticed that my snake shed. It was a complete shed except for part of the tail didn't shed. Should I worry about this till next shed or what should I do?
I'm sure someone more experience will reply but I have read here of snakes who lose their tails b/c the sheds don't come off. I'm not trying to scare you and like I said, one of the more experienced members will surely answer.
That happened to me with my snake's last shed. I used a wet paper towel instead of a washcloth, and I just lightly pinched her tail as she moved through it to help get it off. It worked perfectly.
