Shed Stretch?

Dougefresh

How's your ASPEN
Well I figured the easiest way to measure the length of my snakes is to measure the skin shed and I know they stretch some but can any one tell me how much it may stretch like and inch or two, or not much at all! Has anyone measured their snake and then the shed to see if theres a difference?:spinner::spinner::spinner::spinner:

That's the problem. Depending on many things, moisture probably being the biggest, it can stretch from a couple of inches to probably 10 or more depending on snake size. Not a good way to measure.

I've always understood shed skin can stretch up to one-third, but can't say I've ever bothered measuring it to test!

Figures nothing could be that easy it always has to be the hardway!:crazy02: you need about four arms and hands to get the job done! How about a small clear tube to put him/her in to measure saw that on tv!

^^ I used that with 3 different pics and came up within 1/4" every time. My baby is 49 1/2" :)
