Shed vs. True Length?

How close is a shedded skin to the real length of a snake?

In other words, if I measure the length of the last shedded skin, how much should I add/subtract to come up with a realistic estimate of my corn's length?

You can't.

The shed can dry up to anywhere from 25% or so bigger, or even up to 75% longer than the actual snake. Its not a certain amount each time.

I have downloaded the pgm and I really like it. However; I don't always have access to a digital camera. And then again, I'm just too lazy to go take the pics.
