If it's an injury, is there anything I can do or anything I should do? I know I bought some sort of anti-bacterial viv cleaner but if there is anything to directly apply to the snake, I'm looking for it now. I don't want whatever it is to get worse, or infected. I know she was rubbing up against a certain part of the driftwood that could be the problem, if so I'm sanding that corner off right now, heh.
I just checked her head again, there's a coloration I havent recognized before. Instead of orange there's now a pinkish color like the color inbetween her saddles. If it was an injury do you think it has healed by now since the color is different?
I suspect she might have hurt her head somewhere (since there's apparently something like "bare skin" on her head now). Maybe the thing on the shed is a little scar thingy? Or more accurately the thing that forms on a wound, dried blood and all that. But I suppose it might all heal away in a couple of sheds. Probably good enough to just keep an eye on the odd spot.
Sometimes they get that it's like a rub burn. They rub their head or chin or nose on a rough area like the screen lid. You could put a little neosporin on it.
