Shedding behavior?

Im pretty sure that my snake, Tom, was in the blue the past week, but its hard to tell because he has red eyes and is albino. So tonight about 10 minutes ago he started rubbing himself all over his tank, and contorting himself into odd positions. Hes rubbing himself pretty hard and I dont think that hes going to hurt himself, but is there anything i should know?

No not really, if all goes well he will pretty much take care of it himself. If he doesn't shed tonight (or only partially sheds) I would recommend rising the humidity level in the tank to make things a little easier or giving him a room temp bath (no soap of course). A few sprays of water with a spray bottle a few times a day should do, you can also partially cover the top of the cage to keep more of the humidity inside. Hope that helps ;)

When I see mine go blue I just put in a humid hide to raise humidity.
A few days later I wake up to a perfect shed. lovely.

Mine is also an Amel and its actually pretty easy to tell she's in blue - actually a few days before she sheds her colors go really dull. and her eyes do go a blueish color. I think it would be more difficult to see on snows.
