Shedding/Fed Concern

My 6 month old Female Butter corn snake always eats when she's in her shedding process. Just this week, she showed her signs of shedding. Today, I fed her her usual meal and to my surprise, she shed shortly after (about an hour or 2 after), only this time it was an incomplete shed. She has some flaky skin still attached to her. I was wondering if its safe to wait a few days (being that she just ate) before I attempt to safely remove the incomplete shed. I was also wondering if you guys could share some tips on how to safely remove the incomplete shed. Any information would be highly appreciated. Thank You in advance.

Thanks for the wonderful advice! =D I'll wait a few days before I use that method. Any advice on how to easily prevent future incomplete sheds?

You could make up a moist hide like the one pictured in the link below, most people use sphagnum moss inside, as it's natural and holds the humidity well. Only put the hide in the tank when you see your corn go blue, otherwise he/she may use it as the preferred hide and it is not good for corns to be kept moist all the time, as this can lead to scale rot. If you use it just for his/her shedding times it will be fine.

Hope that helps too, best wishes,

Meant to also say, you'll need to dampen the sphagnum moss with water, just damp not wet, and check it every couple of days and remoisten as neccessary :)
