Shedding or not?

Okay about three days ago I handled my little amel and noticed that his color was faded and his eyes were cloudy. I haven't handled him since then but I have been checking up on him everyday. He has gotten pretty lazy and I don't see him out of his hides. His eyes are back to nomal, and his skin is just a little less faded. This is odd to me because I have never seen a snake not go completely blue in the eyes before a shed. I couldn't have missed him going completely opaque because of my daily check ups. Do you think he will still shed?I want to know so I can decide whether I want to handle him and feed him or just wait to see if he will shed.

With amels it can be hard to catch their blue phase. Their eyes don't go blue like some other morph's do. They'll just go "pink" or opaque. After going into "blue" they will clear completely up for a few days to a week and THEN they will shed their skin. I've noticed(now this is just MY expierance) that my 08s tend to shed much quicker than my full blown adults. Either way, though, your snake is absolutely fine. After the clear phase you should see a shed in about a week or less.

It's ok to feed while they are in blue if they are willing to eat. It's also ok to handle them but they may not be in as good of a mood as usual.
