Shedding while I'm away

I'm going to see my mom for the holidays starting Thursday (the 13th) and ending the 22nd. It has been exactly 30 days since my approx five-month-old corn snake shed, and I can tell that he'll be going into blue fairly soon (he's dulling up--maybe by the end of this week).

His viv hovers around 30-35 as far as humidity is concerned. Since I'll be away, I won't be around to mist his cage or put a damp washcloth on the roof. My question is: should a gradient of 30-35 on the hydrometer be alright for a clean shed? If not, is it alright to leave stuck sheds on a snake for a day or two, or is it a problem that needs to be taken care of immediately?

If it's the latter, and if 30-35 is problematic humidity, I will need to leave some instructions for my father to take care of any stuck shed. What's a step-by-step, easy procedure I can tell him about?

Do you know when you think he'll go blue? If so, have your father watch the eyes and when the cloud over, put in a moist hide.

Otherwise, ask your dad to put a damp washcloth on the roof every day. It can't hurt to raise the humidity to around 50% even when not in shed.

His eyes are still pretty bright red, so I can't imagine he'll be going deep into blue very quickly. I might not even need to worry about him shedding until I get back, but I figure it's good to take precautions. If anything, his eyes might be badly clouded when/just before I get back.

I'll tell my dad about the humid hide and ask him to put a washcloth on the cage roof! He seemed very excited about taking care of Maize while I was gone, so I don't think he'll mind the extra husbandry requirements.
