Ok so I got Powder the middle of January and I've had him for 4 weeks today. 2 Days ago his eyes went cloudy (not blue) but he is a snow so I think I remember reading that a cloudy pink is the colour that they will go. It's been 2 days since his eyes returned to normal colour and no sign of a shed yet. I know that this isn't necessecarily a bad thing it can take up to 5 days as I understand it.
I was just wondering if this was correct or if there is any other reason his eyes might go cloudy as his colours don't seem faded but because hes a snow they look pretty faint anyway. Any ideas guys???
And whilst I'm at it any other good sources of information about shedding would be great. He's apporximately 4 months old now and I was wondering how often he would shed.
Sometimes mine go cloudy, and then I don't see the shed until I rifle through the aspen to find them, or on full-tank cleaning day - my little ones like to burrow whilst in that state, I assume it helps remove the shed. So it might have already happened... if he's otherwise healthy, I wouldn't worry. They're just sneaky.
Well I got him out for a bit just after I posted and he started pushing his head as hard as he could against my hand which confused me so I thought I wud put him back for a bit and then he did the same to his wood and hes finished his first shed with me about 10 mins ago so proud its his first shed with me what an awesome first experience.
