Shedding?

We're having trouble feeding our snake and were wondering, could it possibly be shedding? What is there to look out for, other than dull skin and cloudy eyes? Our snake doesn't have either of those but I've read online and even in this forum that some snakes barely change. Thing is he's already shed since he was hatched which was quite recently (he's around 1-2 months old) so I'm not sure if it's possible yet... how often do snakes shed? We're just trying to look out for any possible reasons he won't eat, sorry if we're annoying worried newbies!!! :(

It is not uncommon for young snakes to shed every 4-8 weeks. As they get older the shedding slow down. I have a large male that shed 3 times a year on average. Sometimes it is more difficult to notice the first few days before they turn blue.

I would get a calander, or chart, and mark the days he shed, ate, cleaned viv, and so on...
It really helps a lot when trying to determine if there are problem happening.
How many times has he refused to eat???

Yeah that's a good plan, we've got a book that we write stuff down in but it'd be a good idea to get a chart or calendar so we can see properly what's happening. He's refused to eat 4 times now- but we've tried every 3 days as reccommended in our book and from the breeder- we've been advised on here to leave it a week now. Tomorrow is 3 weeks since he ate :(
