Sheds on my lap!

I just got a new snow corn female 4 days ago and when I got her she was in blue and also had a big meal in her. I put her in quarintine and left her for the 4 days. I brought her out to handle a bit for the first time and she was chilling in my lap. She started grinding her nose into my arm. At first I thought she was trying to find somewhere to hide but when she persisted to push I realised she is probably trying to shed. I couldn't believe it. Sure enough she shed just going back and forth across my lap and arms. It was so cool. Its rare to see a corn shedding let alone one shedding on your lap, especially one that your handling for the first time. I think this snake is going to be a good one.

She wanted to make sure she looked her best for you!

This is the snake I was talking about with the different texture then I'm used too. It is a little less noticable now but you can still tell and I really like it. I think she liked the shed box I put in there for her, she spent alot of time in there the last couple days.

pretty awesome isn't it?!

I have only had my one corn do that to me once, it was a surprise and a half! but it really does make the snake seem special to you, its feels like the trust you I guess is the easiest way to put it.
but ya it definitely made Sirius my number one snake in my books.. on top of his already puppy dog personality.

That is really amazing wow, I've never seen mine shed, she waits till I'm asleep :p wee question mines actually in she'd just now yesterday she was still in blue stage today she is clear again so she will do it next few days, wen I tried to handle her she kept trying to run I assume they are still blind even after the blue eye stage? And she was jst frightened ?

I'm pretty sure that they can see just fine in the clear stage, maybe she was just startled.. lol
I know most snakes don't enjoy being held while in shed maybe that was her issue?

Maybe because she has recently had a feed and in she'd stage so haven't handled her for about 5 days, she just seemed like she wanted out my hand, she wasn't running just ducking and diving tryn to hide lol

Maybe just wanted some alone time :)
When Sydney was in her blue stage, oddly enough she was her most relaxed... probably just lazy and sleepy though :p

I'm actualy not sure how the sight is after they go clear but In my opinion they just don't like being bothered during this time, so that might be why.

If you want to catch your snake shedding I would check on it soon after it goes dark 2-3 days after they go clear. This is just from my own experiance. I'm no expert.

First pics

Here she is in her first pictures. She is about a year old and still has alot of pinky peachy colors. Do you think she could have Hypo in her as well? A Coral Snow would be an even better match for her new boyfriend not to mention how stunning they are. Its hard to see her texture cause I'm terrable at photos, but I think you can see it a bit in one of them. Thanks for all your time.
