Shipping outside the US

Hi all,

I have seen some nice snakes on the american market. Most breeders say they ship within 24h via FedEx and the costs are $35. Now my question: does that also apply for shipping to Europe? I mean FedEx delivers within 24H worldwide I think.

Thanks for any replys

Short answer: No.

There are a mess of import fees and export fees, and various licenses and such. If you want a full explaination, Kathy Love is the person to ask. She is the only cornsnake breeder I know of who actually ships overseas.

I have shipped overseas on occasion through a local broker. Expect shipping costs to be in the $900 to $1,000US range.

Because of the hassles and red tape involved, I only consider doing an international shipment if the order is in excess of $5,000.

And my responsibility ends once the package leaves this continent, as my live delivery guarantee only extends to the borders of the USA.
