Should I feed my snake a pinkie today?

I last feed him on thursday at 7pm. Should I feed him today or tommorow?
If he refuses to eat what should I do with the pinkie?

OK you can feed him today, but I highly doubt he will refuse the pinkie but if he does then I guess just throw it away. I guess if your not certain feed him on Tuesday. :D

Once every 4-5 days is normal for a hatchling, so today or tomorrow would be fine.

If the pinkie isn't eaten, throw it away. Refreezing brings a risk of the food item going bad and causing a health problem if it's eaten when next defrosted.

If you want to be sure (or as sure as you can) that you don't waste food, feed tomorrow to make sure that your snake's appetite is keen.

Ok thanks guys, I guess I should feed it tomorrow then. I just really like seeing the little guy eat and know he has a full tummy as soon as possible.

Usually if I am going to feed someone that might refuse, I try to have someone who won't refuse who eats the same size lined up as back up. Maybe you can do that with your frog- but why would your snake refuse any way? Has he before?

Never mind all is well, I went against my own word and feed him and he took it happily. As for your question yes he has refused a meal before. Thanks for all the help guys! :dancer:
