Should I Feed My Snake?

I got my son a corn snake three weeks ago. He didn't eat the first week we had him but we fed him a F/T pinky with no problems the second week. He hid for a few days after eating. There was no regurge and when he came out of his hiding spot everything seemed fine with him as far as his behavior goes.

Tomorrow is feeding day again. So far our snake has not pooped from the last meal though. Should I still feed him if he still hasn't gone by feeding time tomorrow?

Often with the little ones that are eating pinkies it's just hard to find their poop, especially if the snake is on a substrate that allows it to burrow. Pinkies should be easy to digest. I would go ahead and offer food again, as long as your snake doesn't appear to have a food lump from the previous meal.

I find that a good way to get a snake to poop that "should" have pooped a couple of days ago is to handle it. Handling tends to "loosen up" the snake. It might be worth a try.
