Can someone show me a couple pics to see what an adult male is supposed to look like. A Healthy adult male scale size or if anyone has a snow it would be appreciated. The reason I ask is because everyone is telling me my snow is over weight. If so I want to see what one really looks like.

I don't have any photos of an adult snow with something to compare size with, but here is an adult amel stripe male in my hand (average female) and an adult anery striped motley male eating an adult culled breeder mouse (XLG). Neither of these males are super large when compared to some adult males, but they are both around 415 grams in these photos.

There is also a difference between a large adult and an over-weight adult.

Why don't you post pictures of the snow, and let someone else give their opinion on whether or not its overweight?

He only eats once a week but its two rat fuzzies. When he was a baby I power feed him but I am starting to regreat that now. He was eating every 7-10 days for most of his life, but because of his wait he will only eat every two weeks one rat pup. The reason why I am feeding him rats is because he refuses mice. He was not eating for me for 6 months and I tried it all, then someone said try rats or gerbils so I did and he likes them. I scented mice with rat but nothing. He does not eat much but he is very lazy, he can't climb very well he falls off the branches. Thats my fault though all his life he couldn't climb because I didn't put any branches in there with him. I am watching what I feed him but right now he is in burmation so after that I will help him loose weight.

Maybe keep on offering a mouse once a week until he changes his mind? A few missed meals won't really do him any harm, and other keepers have said rats tend to make their snakes too fat. If he really won't take mice, then probably 14 day feedings rather than closer together? In between feedings you can get him exercising more during handling sessions so he tones up.
