Shredded paper

I don't use it because the only pro I can think of is it's cheap. Cons include the fact that poop is hard to find and can be easily spread around, it doesn't look nice and that it doesn't provide enough protection from the heat mat (IMO).

I've tried it with my adults....wasn't that thrilled with it. Messes are sopped up pretty well, but you have a wet soggy paper smell added to snake poo smell - ick. It also depends on the type of paper used. I think the little kids do better - less mess. The one thing to watch out for when using paper is humidity factor...too dry leads to shedding problems, too wet leads to mold

for a python or somethin i'd say yes because it wouldnt have to be shredded..but corns love to borrow so you'd need to do that, an itd juss wouldn't be that good for the reasons lifted above.. Aspen bedding is very cheap an can be bought at walmart an other stores.. very safe, nice looking an cheap.. that is what i recommend, the corns can borrow in it very nicely an everything else about it i love.. nice looks, good price, safe an non toxic, what could be better..

be sure not to feed ur corn in the cage wit that substrate whcih u prolly already know..
