i was just wondering dose anyone know what snakes can see ? because when i walk into my room my corn always pops her head up and watches me so i wonderd like dose she see like us or better or worse or what? :)

Can't answer your question, but it is an interesting one, I will be following your thread as I would like to know more about just how well they see too.
 
Hi, Snake vision varies greatly depending on the type of snake, from only being able to distinguish light from dark to pretty good eyesight. Some can track only movement. Generally, vision is best in arboreal snakes and weakest in burrowing snakes.
 
There is an interesting article in May '09 Reptiles magazine...

called "Catching Wavelengths". Although it is about reptiles in general, and more geared to discussing which kind of light waves reptiles can see, it is related somewhat to your question. Try to find a copy to read. It won't answer your EXACT question, but I think it will "shed some light" on the question.
