Silly newbie question

what do the numbers mean that are in front of a snakes description? there are some like 1.0, 2.0, etc...just curious, thanks

1.0 = Male
0.1 = Female
0.0.1 = Unknown sex

If there is more than one, then you might see 2.0 for 2 males or 0.2 for two females.

Hope that helps!

Wayne

Oh my favorite question. Silly newbie questions. Have we come to a consensus on the proper spelling of newbie? I kind of lean toward Nube. But that's just me. I wish people would give us a name. I hate calling someone ty0812. It seems so impersonal. I can't even tell if it's a boy or girl? Maybe we could number new members. You know if they are a boy we could call them 1.0 ty0812. If it is a girl we could call them 0.1 ty0812. I guess if the are ambiguous gender we could call them 0.0.1 ty0812.

I had to ask that question also. This is the first forum I have ever been on so my BF had to fill me in on some of the lingo that's used. He also informed me of the difference between Newbie and Nube or Noob lol Wade you crack me up! labeling new members 1.0 or 0.1, I can just see someone labeling themselves as "0.0.1 unsure, need to be probed" LMAO

Its totally n00b.
:p

Introducing Rosie, 0:1 adult(...i guess...) het for Random.

What about you Wade? Any hidden hets? lol

I had something I wanted to say but I can't get the idea of Rosie being probed out of my mind. I'll come back and tell you later.

Allow me to introduce myself:

Bitsy: 0.1 human. 66% possible het ginger (not expressed), line-bred Dorset locality Normal (or as close as it gets round here). Relatively motley, veering towards motheaten. Flighty when first approached, but calm with regular handling. Reliable eater.

Susie 0.1 Cockney human, no known hets, proven breeder, healthy offspring, acclimatises well and a reliable eater ;)
