Simple Query......

One, maybe two questions and I'll leave ya'll alone. Not being up on the genetics like I should be.... O.K., Bloodred and a Reverse Okeetee. Checking the guide it states these two were put together for brighter Amels. What I got was all normals. Spearhead intact. Now, can I expect a change to Bloodred as they age? And what about their offspring?

Amels should appear in F2 if you breed a pair of the offspring together as they will all be het Amel. Getting all visual Normals in F1 is the expected outcome.

You need two bloodred (diffused) genes to make bloodred. It's a recessive gene. The bloodred look is also selectively bred- to get the best, reddest snakes.

You have normals het diffused and amel.
