"Simple" Question Over Creamsicles

I'm slowly learning mt way around corn snake genetics. But a question arose and i don't know the answer. Do creamsicles have any hets. or do they still just inherit their hets from the parents. Also if you were to breed creamsicles together would you get more creams or is there a chance to get Albinos and Great Plains Rats?

Sorry when it comes to intergrades I get kinda lost lol.

Creams can have hets just the same as pure corns though you could never produce a pure corn or ratsnake by breeding creams together. If they both shared the same hets you'd get something different than your typical cream but it would still be hybrid:)

Fair enough and thank you. Thats just intrigued me more lol. Sounds like breeding creams together could get a little interesting.

Ok i have another scenario. Say you had to creams het for lets say Anrey B. Then you would get some offspring displaying that trait. i've gotten that part. but those offsping wouldn't be considered anrey B corns or creamsicles. seeing as creamsicle is just a form of hybrid right? They would just be some other unnamed hybrid. Am i getting this right?

Close enough.

It's easier if you just ignore the trade name "creamsicle" and see it as en emoryi/corn cross. normal emoryi/corn...amel emoryi/corn....anery emoryi/corn....etc.... whatever works.

Ok Thank You All. Thats what i was getting at for the most part. I just couldn't get it to write down correctly lol. Thats gotten me straight. And once again thank you all for the help.

Think of it also like breeds of dogs. If you breed a golden retriever to a border collie, you get all "mutt" offspring. And if you breed two of such a mix together, you won't suddenly get purebred bcs or goldens again. You *might* however, get offspring that look closer to one genetic side or another. That's why some emoryi/corn hybrids can look very much like pure corn snakes and *that* is why accurate labeling is needed.

Yes, I am a very big advocate for accurate labeling of snakes. And in my personal views, I'm against the breeding between pure and intergrades. I hate seeing intergrades being mislabeled and sold as pure. The only end to come from it is a line of, well, mutts.
