SIMS the Snake version Video Game

Doesn't someone else think that having a computer or video game all about keeping and breeding snakes is a good idea or is it just me?
The object of the game would be to breed enough feeders to feed your snakes and upgrade. You have to buy rodent food, buy their bedding, fill water bottles, clean their tanks ect. Then you can breed your snakes and you can sell the offspring and make more money to upgrade and so on. You can buy new and bigger tanks, assessories to put in their terrariums, better and bigger incubators like ones with thermostats, new morphs and species of snakes to breed to eachother and you can keep the offspring and watch them grow. More rare and unique morphs are worth more. The time should pass like it does on the SIMS game, you can speed it up to pass time but make sure the feeders don't run out of food and water or die from nasty living conditions and make sure to feed your snakes too. The years will go by like seasons and you can pick which on you start in Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall. You can pick where in the United States you want to live and based on that and the time of the season it will determin the temp and how you need to down or up the temp in their terrariums and incubators. I think it would be a great game.

It would be fun, but it's probably not going to happen ;-; Field herping would be fun to include wild stock to the breeding :p Man, it'd be a fun game, imo.

That would be fun too but I think that is something that's more fun to do in real life... But then again I guess so is my idea lol

I'm actually in the middle of planning a sim game about snakes that I hope to put into reality. I was going to ask Rich if I could post here for Beta testers once I had it programmed. I'm glad to see there may be some interest in it.

When mine comes out, it will be an online sim, but there would be "premium" accounts that have perks. Like here, sorta.

Php and Mysql are programming languages. I have a book, but I haven't downloaded Mysql (which is a database) to my Mac yet. Anyway, anyone who wants more info, PM me?

I like this idea. I think it may actually be useful as well as fun. It would act as a good tool for people new to keeping or breeding snakes to learn and practice on virtual animals before caring for real animals.

Hrmmmm I think there was some ball python simulation that everyone was playing (for probably about 4 days) years back. It was fun. Definitely could have been expanded on though. ;)

I would LOVE a game like that. :D Unfortunately, it has virtually no audience and would probably do very poorly on the market, even if it was a great game. Not enough people want a sim about keeping/breeding snakes.
