I was looking around petsmart recently for a great sized viv for my baby corn, to grow up in till he dies. I was thinking around a 30 gal long, but i seen a 36 by 15.I was wondering for width/space wide how much should it be is a 36 X 15 gallon aqaurium good for a adult corn or should the width be more spaced out? Also any suggestions on what i should buy to keep his tank a more natural habitat look.

A 30 breeder would be better then a 30 long in my opinion. It gives them more room to turn around in and allows for more space. A 30 breeder is 36x18x12. I think that is big enough for an adult corn. Also as far as keeping the tank more natural, I use aspen bedding, climbing branches (drift wood) and those fake plants that stick on the side of the viv, or you can lay them on the aspen for them to hide in. You can also buy silk plants at cheap dollar stores and use those.

My tank is 36X15X15 and is more than enough room for my snake. He is not full grown but I believe adult corns can be housed in anything 20 L or bigger. I think my tank is about 35 gallons (someone correct me if I am wrong). So I think that size would do.

hey

yea, actually i w s at petsmart by tucson mall an i saw this 40x15x 12 i believe my uncle is giving me his snow corn(possibly) soo ima prolly end up getting two but i know people who keep two corns in 35 gall long by 15 soo im sure a 40 gal by 15 wouldnt be that bad for two corns. Or would it?

There is actually a lot of controversy about housing two corns together. You might want to do a search on "Cohabitation". I personally wouldn't recommend it.
