Size of my Motley

Hi everyone,

I posted these pics yesterday but I might have put them in the wrong area. Anyway, I can't weigh it and do not know the sex yet, but I was wondering if anyone can give me any feedback regarding the size of it. It seems a little small girth wise? It's approximately 3-4' long.

I bought it as a hatchling in 7/07. Eats every Sunday without fail one f/t adult mouse easily and is very mild tempered and extremely docile.

Thanks for any input you could provide.

It looks fine to me, there's no spine sticking out. Corns can look skinny if you're used to seeing other popular pet snake species. Most people don't feed an adult snake every week but if it's working for you I'm not going to tell you not to.

I was feeding every 2 weeks but I thought it looked small so I upped it....how often do you feed yours?

I would say he looks like a healthy weight and size. Very pretty too! You could try feeding him every 10 days. It can be pretty difficult to get a snake to lose weight once they're fat, so it's better just let them gain weight slowly once they're an adult.

I feed mine every 10-14 days because I grow my own mice and sometimes what I have available is a little larger or smaller. So if it was a big mouse I wait 2 weeks.
