Hi,
I am going to move my corn onto rats but before I do I'd like a rough idea on the sizes. Ive emailed a few sites but they werent too helpful. If anyone could post pics or just measurements of the approx sizes (pinkie, fuzzy etc) it'd be much appreciated.
Cheers!
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that a small adult mouse is equivalent to a rat pinkie. A rat fuzzy is the same size as a larger adult mouse. But you might want to check that, as I said, I can't be absolutely certain.
From my own experience breeding both rats and mice, it pretty much goes like this:
small rat pinky = large fuzzy/small hopper mouse
large rat pinky = large hopper/small weanling mouse
rat fuzzy = small adult mouse
rat pup (eyes open) = large adult mouse
