Ok i havn't read anything about this anywhere. so I pose a question to all the experts, do corn snakes sleep or just rest? maybe thats a dumb question but I'm just not sure.

They do sleep, and you notice they are sleeping when you take the top off their hide and they jerk back when you touch them. Or, if in the middle of the night you walk by and they are basking on a branch, if they normally would take off when they see you but you can wave your hand by their head and they don't move. It's kinda cute actually. In my opinion they are like cats, they sleep ALOT!

yea it's weird, staring at their eyes and they are staring back, but they are sleeping. And sometiems their heads will be cocked to the side, well mine does that, lays its' head down and turns it a little, like a dog, or soemthing.

i actually find that when mine sleep if you look closely to their eyes, their eyes kinda sink down a tad, thats when i know mine are sleeping. lol
