Slinky...my snow...had her first shed with me last night And WOW talk about a grumpy snake before hand. It was hard for me to tell she had gone blue...at least not as easy as my sons anery. I suspected about a week ago, but wasn't sure as she never refused to eat. The only thing that really made me think she was getting close is that she never came out of hiding...normally she is very active and doesn't use her hides. And she struck at me when I tried to get her out to feed her last night. But being as she was so grumpy I decided to wait...about an hour later she had shed and was back to her normal self and hungry! She swallowed her pink in about 5 seconds. Her shed came in 3 long pieces :/ probably because I didn't raise the humidity. Now that I know her a little better and what to watch for, I'll know when to raise it next time. Here is few pics of the newly shed Slinky and some feed pics of my sons anery... Checkers
