Well, it looks like everyone else is already breeding! But this is my first year, so I guess that I can move a little slower, no? My two breeders came out of brumiation about a week ago and last night took their first meal (smaller than usual). As long as everything comes out the right end, they'll be fed again in five days (small range of the normal size). After that, I'll be feeding them every five days or so, depending on how hungry they act. I want to make sure that they both pack on enough weight before breeding (especially the female).

Then, I'll be putting them together after the female's first shed, cross my fingers, say a few prayers to the diety of choice, and hope for the best.

Even if things don't go as planned, this should be an interesting experience (sink or float). I'm not trying to breed for anything special (my male is the unique phase I call a "godknowswhat"), so if even one egg hatches, this will be a success!

Wish me luck!
