Small bit at the tail

Peelz shed a few weeks ago and I thought all of it was off of her but there is a little bit left on her tail. About 1/4 inch is left, how do I get it off of her before it becomes an issue?

Could be, Id soak him,

I was told try a small piece of scotch tape to remove it by someone once-Im not recommending that but someone told me to dab the left skin with tape.

o_O don't use tape.
All you need to do is soak him for a bit, then run the tail through a towel.
You may need to apply pressure to the tail as he slithers through, so it peels back, just as if he were to shed it normally.

I've had good luck with taking a warm, damp washcloth and letting the snake run through it a few times. As AliCat said, you may still need to apply some gentle pressure to help rub the stuck skin off.

If that's not enough, do try the soak then towel. I've not had to resort to a soak before, but it could certainly be of help if the shed really is stubborn. :)

I've never heard of the tape trick. Personally, I wouldn't ever do it. I wouldn't want to risk any damage to healthy scales while trying to remove a stuck shed.
