Hi guys Alice just left a shed for me this morning she's a year old and every shed comes off as one piece, today however when comparing it to the previous shed its only just bigger in length?? U can normally see a big difference. She also seems alot thinner aswell, I'm worried guys or is it just my imagination. She had been on medium mice 1nce a week for about 2 month now I'm wondering if I shud move her to large mice ideas wud be smashing :)
 
She could be slowing down in growing temporarily.
What are "medium" mice? As in, fuzzy, hopper, weanling? Or better yet, how much do the mice weigh and how mch does she weigh?

Aww I hope not, over in Scotland we call it pinkie,fuzzy,small,medium,large,rat. Iv never weighed her maybe I should, to give u a better idea, picture won't do it justice I don't think
 
Sheds also shrink more in a dryer/warmer environment. The size could well be due to how long it was in there, how close to the heat source, etc. I don't think twice about my snake's sheds, except to see that they are in one piece.
 
Never thought of that, it was during the night she shed so got it on the morning, I only use a heat may and its under aspen, yes it came off perfect I really shouldn't worry :)
