Snake Baths

I'm just wondering, is it best to bath during blue or when they go clear?

My big boy is bad at shedding his last shed was the best yet but I want to keep it up.

Also I have recently moved apartments and am struggling for ideas on what to bath him in. I'm guessing kitchen sink is not
Too good for him.

Tia.

Bathing is not necessary. Sounds like you need to be more concerned with the humidity in the enclosure. What are you using - tank, tub, wood, plexi?

A spray bottle will help keep up the humidity inside the enclosure. Mist a few times a day.

Do you also provide him with a humid hide? You can also try draping plastic wrap over half of the enclosure along with misting when you notice him go blue.

He has moss in his hide which helps a little.

He has plastic wrap over but I just can't seem to get the same humidity I do in my other corns tank.

It's stressful the little guys such a bad shedder [emoji8]

You may want to invest in a digital *hygrometer if your corn is having issues. Personally I would wait to do any sort of light soaking (or have your snakey go through a damp towel) until the bad shed has happened, as to not wash away important oils on their skin prior to shedding.

:)

She'd this morning in about 5 peices.

Last time I bathed him a few days after he entered the clear stage and he shed perfect all in one.

I'll leave him a little while whilst he's fresh and give him a little bath just in case there's anything stuck.
