Snake hammocks?

Lyion

~♪Sorry and Thanks♪~
Rosco the Ball python loves being up as high in the air as he can be. For what reason I do not know. He will "stand up" in the corner of his tank. So, I was wondering about personal experiences with snake hammocks. So, I'm going to number my questions, as I usually do.

1. How do you install them in a glass viv?
2. How well does this work? Is it sturdy?
3. Can it hold Rosco, who is just under 1000g?
4. Is this a good idea?

Thanks~

They have suction cups that stick to the glass or plastic. They hold well. They eventually lose suction and one side falls down. Some snakes like them, some don't. I think you'd need to buy the large size. I use the small and medium. Medium holds an adult cornsnake with plenty of room.

Nanci can u link me a place to buy the mediums my wife uses them for beardies and can only find small and large the med. Would be a perfect size and fit. I don't personally use them for my snakes they aren't the climbing type for some reason.

A little dab of silicone on the back of the suction cup before you stick it on will keep it from popping off. It will come off with a razor blade if needed though. The only problem with this solution is you need to keep your snake somewhere else til the silicone dries, approximately 24 hrs.
