Snake Has Mites - NIX Treatment?

Has anyone tried the NIX treatment for mites? I haven't tried the recommended treatment (4L of water + 1 NIX bottle) yet, as I wanted to get some more feedback. A breeder, I think he posted here, has been using it for 6 years, without any negative effects. One of my corns has mites, so now I need to do the bunch of them. Just looking for some more feedback before doing anything.
Thanks,

I have used it a couple of years ago on some wild caught snakes I bought. It worked great and there were no negative effects that I could see.

I used it. I meant to mix it half strength, and some how didn't. I did three treatments of the snakes and the bins, and the carpet, and the racks, and the walls, and pretty much my whole house, all because I thought I saw black specks in the water bowl of a snake I'd had quite a long time. With my vision, who knows! But better safe than sorry. I'd be leery of using on babies, though. Even half strength.

This will be way more than half strength, 4L of water and 59ml of NIX.
Thanks for the replies.
I'd love to hear from some more people, as I will be treating on Sunday.

Also, Wade, how did you mix your NIX? Was it the way I heard of? 4L water and a 56g (59ml) bottle of NIX?

I used a gallon of water and the smallest bottle of NIX they had on the shelf. It works great, but spray once a week for about 3 weeks to a month, just to be safe. Always make sure after the first day they have plenty of water! NIX works by dehydration.

I did the same as Robbie. I bought a gallon of distilled water and added a small bottle of Nix to the gallon.

I've used it. Worked great. All Mites were dead after the first treatment, but keep using it for a couple weeks just to be sure.

And no one had any adverse effects from this treatment?
What treatments do you guys normally use? Is it the NIX? Or Provent-A-Mite.
It's hard (and expensive) to get P.A.M in Ontario, Canada.
