Found this little guy today in the boiler room at a customers house. Scooped him up and put him in a bucket before she could see otherwise he would have been dead.

I live in upstate NY about 50 miles north of NYC.

My first guess was an Eastern Milksnake but I didn't know they came this far north. What do you all think?

I can't say for sure it's an eastern milk, but they are native to NY, so it's possible. And just in case you weren't aware, as far as I know, you cannot keep any native species of reptiles in NY (without proper permits), so if you're going to be keeping this guy, don't make it too public.
 
You can send whatever it is down here to me! I think they're legal in Florida!

could be an eastern milk. but also that looks really similar to a grey banded kingsnake. i know they arent native to that region.. atleast i dont think. but maybe he got out from somewheres cage and ended up in her boiler room?
 
WOW totally off.. dont even look at taht post. haha..

i was looking at pictures earlier today and got the eastern milk and grey banded king mixed up completely. really sorry about that.
