Snake Poo

FlaStangBabe

Elmo & Molly's Mommy
Before Elmo's first shed, during blue phase, I was soaking him in warm watter and he pooped. maybe two or three days after eating. That was also the first time I got to see him drink. The other night I was holding him and thought it would be cool to see him drink again. So ( after waiting two days after he ate), I filled up the "Elmo dish' ( a shallow gladware dish) with luke warm water and set it on a aper towel. I let him slither on the paper towel and he wasa curious about the dish..went in and a few seconds later he pooed again. Seems like now any time he is on the warm water he poops...why? ( if you know)

warm water+reptiles=poop
I don't know a technical explanation for it unless it's just really relaxing for them. Anytime a snake or lizard seems constipated, a soak in warm water is the first thing to try.

LOL. OK...never thought of that. I guess it is better for him to poop in the water then on the carpet or me...lol
