Snake Poop Laundry Quandry...

So, I've officially been pooped on by birds, babies, and now, the snake...Unfortunately, it also landed on my jeans and my futon cover. Is there any special laundry technique for poop? :shrugs: (Snake or otherwise...the bird and the baby managed to hit skin.)

Thanks in advance for your help.

I usually just wash it with regular detergent in its own load in the washer and it comes out fine. You might try adding a little Borax to the wash to really be sure its gone.

And since snake poo is protein derived, you may try adding a bit of meat tenderizer (powdered or liquid) and gently rubbing it in. It works great for blood stains.

If it doesn't come out in the first load, just remember not to dry it in the dryer or the stain will set. Then try taking it to the nearest dry cleaner, they can usually work miracles. =)

That being Hydrogen Peroxide, to the not-so-hoity-toity educated folks.

I thought everyone knew that.

Either way, H202 is less writing than hydrogen peroxide :)
