It takes a while for the mouse to go down properly, it takes my snake about a day or 2 before he poops it out the other end!

I've been finding stuff that looks like bird poop in his tank. I have been taking it out safely assuming that it is poop. Lol my beardie pooped in my brothers belly button while he was laying down. Now THAT, is disguisting lol.

Hello,
I have had Fern, 5 month old corn, for about a month now. She hasn't pooped once. Should I be worried? She has immediately eaten every pinky I have given her (one per week) and she is definitely growing, but where is the waste? I also haven't seen her get in her water dish yet. Is that normal?

Thanks

lol i acutally was handling her a couple of days ago and i tihnk she pee on me cus my finger was all of a sudden wet but it was like water. and then some yellowish mixwith white praticles came out too. so i fgure that was her poop lol

I dont think you should worry jburdy80. They are animals just like we are, and as you know, no matter how hard you try, you can't hold it in forever. Anyway, snake poop is really small when they are under a year old, I barely see it in my tank. You could just try picking her up and putting her in the water dish, I did this with Spot (my striped corn) and he jsut waded in the water and started drinking. Then when he was done he swam out and slithered away. As long as there is water in the tank with the snake it'll be fine.

I never see poo on the surface of the aspen, it's always under it, where my corn likes to crawl around. I also find that it's similar to bird poop, but for the most part isn't white.

The main body of a snake poop should be a dark colour. The white liquid part of a snake poo are the urates.
